Boise State University’s Intensive English Program is located on the campus of Boise State University, in beautiful Boise, Idaho, USA. Boise is the largest city in the state of Idaho with close to 600,000 people in the metropolitan area. A center for government, business, the arts, health care, and technology, Boise also offers the safe and friendly environment of a small town. Students can enjoy activities from shopping and fine dining to skiing and snowboarding at nearby ski resorts. The university campus, with close to 20,000 students, is located within walking distance of the city center.
The Intensive English Program offers 5 course levels in reading, writing, grammar, speaking and listening for students who want to improve their English language skills. The program also includes fun cultural activities and elective courses, including an American Conversation Partner program and TOEFL preparation courses. Our small program size provides personalized attention and support for each IEP student.
The IEP also offers a Language Bridge program for upper-level students who are ready to take some university undergraduate courses with their language classes.
Boise State University offers conditional admission to the university’s undergraduate programs for eligible IEP applicants.
Boise State University offers undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degree programs in more than 190 fields of interest, in Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Public Affairs.
Housing options include on-campus residence halls, on-campus apartments and off-campus housing.
