Student-centered and affordable, Carroll is nationally recognized for excellence in academics, athletics and extracurricular competition. With enrollment of 1,400 and most classes averaging 20 or fewer students, Carroll offers personalized attention from outstanding faculty, who are consistently recognized for their excellence. Admission to Carroll is slightly competitive. Carroll offers over 40 majors including business, engineering, pre-med and nursing. We welcome people of all backgrounds and beliefs. Our beautiful campus is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Montana’s capital city, Helena. International students are eligible for both merit and athletic scholarships. In national competition, Carroll wins high honors. The Talking Saints debate team is ranked in the top three of all colleges and universities in the US and has reigned as the Northwest regional champion for the past 18 years. 84 percent of Carroll pre-med students applying to medical school are accepted, while the national average hovers around 50 percent. Carroll students taking all sections of the nationwide Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam enjoy a first-time pass rate 3 times the national average. 90 percent of Carroll nursing majors pass their professional exams on the first attempt. Carroll’s Fighting Saints football team has won five of the last seven NAIA national championships. Guaranteed housing for international students means that they become part of a wonderful learning community. Unique to Carroll is its dedication to service learning and social justice. Carroll also offers a full slate of professor-led education abroad journeys to six continents.
