Offering more than 100 undergraduate and graduate majors in such areas as art/animation, business, communications, computer science, education, nursing and pre-medical, Edinboro University is dedicated to academic and co-curricular excellence. You will feel safe and secure on our spacious 585-acre campus, five on-campus traditional residence halls and four apartment style housing suites accommodating approximately 2,000 students, and a modern seven-story library with more than 496,000 bound volumes and 1.4 million microform units. Great things are happening in our state-of-the-art learning centers and contemporary facilities for on-campus living, dining and recreation which include a new student center , a new $5.4 million state-of the art music facility and recently opened Sports and Recreation Center. You may spend time at Sox Harrison Stadium, home of the Fighting Scots lacrosse, soccer and football teams, upgraded to include artificial turf, lighting, and new scoreboards.

When a student is not in class or studying, there are more than 200 student-related clubs and organizations which offer a wide variety of activities. In addition, students can attend and/or take part in musical concerts, comedy shows, movies, skiing trips, fraternities, and sororities.

Among the many graduate and professional schools attended by recent Edinboro graduates are American University, Berkeley, Eastman School of Music, Georgetown University, Hershey Medical School, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Temple University School of Dentistry. Edinboro graduates have brought credit to the University in such positions as government officials, legislators, federal agents, corporate executives and administrators, and college presidents.

Recognizing that classroom learning provides only part of a complete education, Edinboro University provides off-campus internships in businesses, industries and offices throughout the tri-state area. Students have successfully completed internships with such organizations as General Electric, the Cleveland Browns, CNN, Ford Motor Company, Disney World, the American Cancer Society, and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
