Shoreline Community College students are routinely accepted to prestigious universities nationwide, for example: UC Berkeley, University of Southern California (USC), Purdue, UCLA, NYU, University of Washington, Seattle University and many more.
Established in 1964, Shoreline Community College is a 15 minute drive to downtown Seattle. We offer a beautiful campus in a safe, quiet location; excellent student services; comprehensive ESL classes; and a high-quality yet affordable program to transfer easily to university. Seattle is also a culturally rich, friendly, and dynamic city. Concerts, theater, fine dining, skiing, and hiking are all nearby.
At about half the cost of the average public university, Shoreline’s high school completion program and the 2+2 university transfer program gives students the first two years of university studies with smaller classes, lower tuition and personalized academic advising. Shoreline’s international student graduates have an average GPA of about 3.54, making them attractive applicants when they apply as transfer students for year three and four of their university studies.
