Established in 1978, the Tutorium in Intensive English is known for its professional faculty, serious students, competitive fees and convenient location.  Our reputation for excellent instruction and student services brings over 300 inernational students to Chicago each year.  The Tutorium offers the Intensive English Program three sessions per year with levels from introductory to advanced.  The full-time curriculum develops all skill areas, academic preparedness and cultural awareness.  Experienced faculty teach every class using methods and textbooks that reflect current practice in second language teaching.  Students have preferred access to the program's computer lab.  The Tutorium is accredited by CEA, the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation, and is a member of UCIEP, the consortium of University and College IEPs and of AAIEP, the American Association of IEPs.
