The normal process for any international student is to apply for admission to a school/program first. Next student has to submit financial document proving financial eligibility. Check with the school web site for detail information on how to fill out and submit Financial Statement. Once your financial documents are verified and evaluated, the school's International Student Services will issue I-20. Using the I-20 issued by ISS, you can then apply for Visa appointment with US Embassy/Consulate Office in your own country to apply for Student F-1 Visa.

For our MBA students at TCU, once admitted, student has 3-4 weeks to respond to our offer (admission and/or scholarship; by paying required deposit fee of $500 students are showing us their serious intention to attend TCU. The I-20 process starts at this point, MBA Admission Office will follow up with instruction on how to fill out and submit Financial Statement. Our admission office is responsible for veryfying and evaluating financial documents before submitting to ISS to request for I-20. By taking charge of the Financial Statement process, we can help ISS Office expedite the I-20 Process.

Hello! At Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey you will be required to submit financial documentation that proves to the university that you will be financially supported the entire time you will be enrolled. Once you have been offered admission and accept our offer and we have all of the financial documentation required you will then be issued your I-20. Once your receive the I-20 you will need to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee and apply for your student visa.
